He visited me last Thursday evening and helped Missie on her way. it was so sad but completely stress and pain ...”

“Had a really positive experience with PawSquad. The vet (one of several I gather) was Pietro Faustini. He came to look at my 19 year old cat who hates going to the vet. The call out charge was slightly more than my local vet's consult fee but costs of blood tests was cheaper so came to about the same. And the benefit was that my cat was far less...”

Diane Cameron - London
“I can highly recommend PawSquad, it's an easy to use service and there's never a problem getting an appointment. Our cat always found the visits to the local vet very stressful and therefore home visits by PawSquad are god sent. We saw Dr Pietro on two occasions and I must say he was absolutely amazing!! Dr Mhairi Fleming
"I cannot recommend Mhairi Fleming from PawSquad in Edinburgh highly enough. Although Mhairi only visited my elderly springer spaniel (Morgan) twice I sincerely wish I had met her a long time ago as Morgan never liked going to the vet and it just caused her stress. As it was Morgan was at the end of her days and had given up and my vet doesn't offer the service of coming to the house to put Morgan to sleep but PawSquad did. Everyone dreads the day they will have to say goodbye to their beloved pet and I was the same. However, Mhairi provided so much comfort to both Morgan and I that it was a very respectful and peaceful goodbye with Morgan munching on her favourite biscuits as she closed her eyes for the last time. Mhairi was so flexible, offering to visit out of hours or on a Sunday and you never felt rushed (like you do at the vet). Such a lovely way with people and animals alike. Mhairi really is a treasure you need to discover if your beloved pets, like mine, don't like going to the vet."

"PawSquad is a wonderful way to have your pet seen and treated by a vet. No stressful car journey or surgery waiting room for our elderly dog. Vet Mhairi gave Jumble a thorough and careful examination with none of the usual 10-minute-appointment pressures. Lots of good, practical advice and a realistic treatment plan."

"I'm after a home visit from Martha. My cat usually is very afraid of new people coming to my flat but Martha was so calm and gentle with him that he wasn't stressed at all!!! She is very knowledgeable and gave me lots of great advice how to keep my cat happy and in shape. I would highly recommend her to everyone."

You will need to get a cat or dog pet passport if you plan on leaving the UK with your pet. To get a pet passport you will need to fulfil a number of requirements set out by the destination country. EU countries have a standard set of requirements whereas non-EU countries vary. The cost of a pet passport therefore depends on where you are travelling to and what tests and vaccinations are required. PawSquad are more than happy to assist you in finding the relevant information. PawSquad vets are able to complete the necessary checks and tests, and issue your pet passport at home in Edinburgh.
