Pet prescriptions sorted at home, stress-free
If your pet is unwell they may need medication to help them get better or manage their illness. Lots of these drugs are prescription only to ensure that they are used appropriately, keeping pets safe and healthy. PawSquad vets can diagnose and prescribe medication in the comfort of your own home. They will be able to directly administer some medications or to issue your pet with a prescription and show you exactly how to administer it yourself.
Why should I get my pet's medications from my vet?
It is possible to get a prescription and then purchase medication elsewhere however, there are several reasons you should consider getting your pet's medications direct.
- If your vet has the medication in stock, you immediately have it and you don't have to wait to get it from a pharmacy
- Your vet can answer your questions, provide you with instructions for use, and maybe even demonstrate how to give your pet the medication
- If you order from a pharmacy, the medication could be damaged during shipping leaving it ineffective or unusable. If you get it from your vet, you know it has been properly handled until it reaches you and they can inform you how to make store it.

“I used this service for the first time this week (Katherine Friel). Her advice was spot on and I saw an instant change in my cat with a dicky tummy. No visit to vets needed. I was thrilled. Brilliant idea and service.”

“Dr Kara was incredible with my Monty she interacted with him and examined him thoroughly and he didnt even realise it had been done! Monty was smitten it was the best vet experience we have ever had. Monty has been sorted with some cream. Highly recommended. Monty wasn't anxious and neither were we. We will be customers forever. Thank you”

“Julia recently came to see my cat Luna. I had originally contacted PawSquad as I find the whole process of getting my cat in a carrier, in to the car and to the vets a bit overwhelming! Julia enabled both me and Luna to avoid any of the normal vet visit stress. Not only was it great to have a vet come to your home but Julia was extremely thorou...”

“I cannot praise Ana or this service highly enough. I've a nearly 13 years old cat, Katie, that has never been poorly until now, let alone left the boundaries of "her" house and garden in those 13 years,so you can imagine how distressed both cat and owner were feeling. Ana came along, put us both at ease, kept in touch at all times. Treatment is ...”
Angela Dorrington - Bournemouth
“Kara was brilliant. What with kids and visitors (ours is a busy house) I ideally wanted a home visit for our dog. Kara managed to come out the same day we called her. Our dogs hate the vets (more of the vets office than the vets themselves) so it was brilliant that Kara came into their home. Kara immediately relaxed with the dogs and the dogs w...”
